After a thorough needs analysis we conduct a search of all the latest material available on the market and will recommend what we feel, through our experience, will be informative, ‘in context’ and stimulating for our students.

The strength of our own Dutch material

Semantics acknowledges the importance of high quality pedagogical material to accompany language training. Through thorough market research we have selected the finest language books for all the big global languages to work with. Whereas the choice for language books for most languages is vast and the quality often high, unfortunately this is not the case for Dutch material. And although Dutch might not be a global language, it is nevertheless one of the most ‘in demand’ languages on the Belgian market.

Most of the existing Dutch course books are quite academic, not very attractive to the eye (even old-fashioned) and intended for huge group classes. We felt that there was a need in the market for a modern, attractive, visually appealing, informative and structured step-by-step course book which is intended as a support for interactive and communicative language learning. Therefore we have created our own Semantics Dutch material.
